It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and once went over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their batters to maintain a record if never given the possibility.

In the end, the result of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting a platform to deliver her most recent brilliance.

"A chance to play and face the challenge with her and simply enjoy myself that way, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the belief to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if necessary, we believe we can do it."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at an important competition.
